The following is a list of notable achievements I've garnered throughout the past few years.

This list includes, but isn't limited to:

• Accepted entry into the 76th Annual Art Exhibit at the Neville Public Museum
• Winning the 2019 Wild & Scenic Film Festival (and winning a hand selected print from National Geographic contributor Jim Brandenburg! Pictured here with the print he sent.)

NWTC Artisan Residency Cohort '21-'22

I was selected along with 4 other talented Artists from the Northeast Wisconsin area to be a part of the '21-'22 Cohort for the NWTC Artisan Residency.

From the NWTC Art and Business Center, "The Residency Program was established to provide up to 5 artists each year with more educational opportunities and experiences to grow their arts-based business and encourage entrepreneurship in the arts."

Neville 76th Annual Juried Art Exhibit

While I did not place in the top rankings I was honored to be a part of the Neville Public Museum's 76th Annual Juried Art Exhibit with my piece "Pathos" which is a photo of Cave Point, Door County on a very windy day!

From the Neville Public Museum, "The 76th Art Annual exhibit is an all-media, juried exhibition of current artworks produced by artists living in the counties of Northeastern Wisconsin and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. A total of 40 artworks by 39 artists were chosen by juror George Williams (Professor of Visual Arts, Beloit College). "

2019 Wild & Scenic Film Festival, Presented by Wolves of Douglas County Wisconsin Films

I had entered the photo above and won the competition at first place, which was being judged by Jim Brandenburg, world-famous National Geographic contributor. Known for his photo and video work with wolves, today he focuses on environmental work and wildlife activism. I received a personal card and collection print from him of his famous White Wolf jumping across sheets of ice.

As he said of my photo:
"The coyote is extremely adaptable and survives in urban environments by its uncanny wits.“ Jim Brandenburg

Also involved in the photo competition and film festival event were Wolves of Douglas County and Project Coyote.
