Project examples

This summer I was graced to work with Downtown Green Bay, Inc. on a project that spanned 19 businesses throughout the district.

This is by far one of the largest projects I've worked on. The project was focused on food and retail within the district to show off for both print and digital needs.

The rather interesting thing I began noticing quickly after going into the businesses to start lining up the project and promoting the project, was the reception to this idea. So many of them were game to make the photos happen, seeing the value in it.

This is where social media is so helpful - seriously. I was able to utilize the power of it to get models and connections throughout the community that helped turn this project into something much more inviting. I am thankful for the people I know, and the people I've connected with as a result of the project.

Overall, I found models were people who wanted to be involved to show off our community off in a positive way that will no doubt bring people out. In some cases strangers coming together for the first time and leaving friends.

I would be remiss to say this project didn't change my view on how I can offer my services. It opened my eyes up in new ways to how I can help other communities, other downtown orgs, tourism boards and more.

So the question, the ask? How can I help bring your destination districts to life? Your business to life? Consider quality photography because people don't buy things that look they were shot through a potato, unless you're shooting a potato, and even then.
